tCook: 45 day, 9,300 mile road trip with TOM BIHN bags
“Last year, I spent 45 days driving a 9,300 mile loop around the country. My Tom Bihn bags were a great help and most of them were in and out of the car with me every night (I had a couple of longer stops, but mostly kept moving each night). Halfway through, I picked up my BFF in Delaware and we had a TB bag-fest going on in the back of the car. This picture, in Virginia Beach, shows 1) my Honda Element, the best road trip car *ever*, 2) my Synapse, Aeronaut, and Co-Pilot, 3) the BFF’s Side Effect and Aeronaut, and 4) a bunch of other gear (the trip included some camping so we were pretty loaded down!).

dorayme: Western Flyer by car for 5 days!
“I just returned home from a 5 day, 4 night, 3 hotel initiation trip with my Steel/Ultraviolet Western Flyer with backpack straps. I got to meet and had a lovely evening with Janine!
I needed to pack for casual weekend wear suitable for a church conference, plus some recreation clothes for the Zoo, outings with the kidlets and visits with family and friends. I am still new at minimalist packing, and I admittedly over packed. I also had along my Side Effect in my Cork Little Swift for my handbag, my Steel/Cork/Wasabi Imago for my “car” bag, and my Steel/Black Utility tote to bring along some spinning for any down time I could find.”

“What a great daybag when you need to layer on and off. Weather is so changeable in Iceland! The first pic, taken at the geothermal area ( boiling mud and steam vents) near Myvatn has a foggy area due to the rain and howling wind.”
ChrisG: Empire Builder and Aeronaut on a Cross-Country Train Trip
My daughter and I rode Amtrak’s California Zephyr from Emeryville, CA (across the Bay from San Francisco) to Omaha, NE. Well, technically we rode it past Omaha to Creston, IA because the Omaha station was closed due to the flooding on the Missouri River.
I received my new bags a few days before the trip. The EB is my new EDC bag for work, but the Aeronaut was pretty much purchased because of this trip.”
